Ilaria Senaldi
Ilaria Senaldi is currently CEO and legal representative of Sismica360.
Graduated in Building Engineering and Architecture at the University of Pavia, in 2012 she obtained the Master of Science and the Ph.D. in Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology at the ROSE School of the University Institute for Superior Studies of Pavia (IUSS). Starting from 2009, she has been involved in several experimental campaigns involving shaking table tests of masonry structures and has dealt with the study of the seismic vulnerability of existing masonry buildings and building aggregates, together with the assessment of the effectiveness of seismic retrofit.
She is currently a researcher at the Eucentre Foundation, Pavia, where her activities focus on the development of tools to support emergency management activities, e.g. advanced data collection tools for damage survey, machine learning models for the automatic detection of damage through the use of drones, monitoring systems and early warning services for structures and infrastructures with satellite data.
She was actively involved in post-earthquake surveys following the earthquakes of L’Aquila (Italy) in 2009, Christchurch (New Zealand) of 2010-2011 and Central Italy 2016-2017, in particular of public facilities, schools and heritage buildings.
