Luigi Marra
Luigi Marra graduated in 2020 in Civil Engineering for Mitigation of Risk from Natural Hazards – Reduction of Seismic Risk (ROSE) curriculum, at the University School for Advanced Studies of Pavia (IUSS) and the University of Pavia.
During his studies, he did an internship in the Groningen region, in The Netherlands, focusing on the seismic assessment of timber, steel and unreinforced masonry (URM) buildings subjected to induced seismicity due to gas extraction activity in onshore fields.
Since 2020 he has been part of the Sismica360 team, working on the seismic assessment through nonlinear static and dynamic analysis, of existing masonry and reinforced concrete strategic building, with the aims of defining appropriate seismic and structural retrofitting interventions.
